Snickers Stuffed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

School is back, and that means my kids’ social lives are completely booked. From after-school activities and homework to hanging out and chatting on the phone with friends, there’s less one-on-one time with mom. But I’ve discovered a sure-fire way to spend some quality time with my kids — baking. Our newest baking adventure was making AMERICAN HERITAGE® Chocolate and SNICKERS® Stuffed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies, and you are going to want this recipe.

AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate and SNICKERS Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies

This post was sponsored by AMERICAN HERITAGE® Chocolate as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

It’s amazing what kids will tell you when you slow down and give them time to talk, and baking with my kids gives us the perfect opportunity to talk and learn about each other. Over measuring ingredients I learned about friends, teachers, worries and triumphs. And in the end, we had delicious Snickers Stuffed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies to enjoy together.

This was my first time baking with AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate Finely Grated Baking Chocolate, and it was so yummy. It was the perfect touch to give these peanut butter cookies a chocolaty taste. I have grated chocolate for recipes in the past, and this was so much easier – plus there’s no way I grated it as fine as AMERICAN HERITAGE. If you are going to bake these SNICKERS Stuffed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies, or any other recipe from the guide above, be sure to order AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate Finely Grated Baking Chocolate from Amazon.

Snickers Stuffed Cookies

Instructions:

Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Whisk Flour

Using an electric mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy; beat in chocolate and peanut butter. Scrape down the bowl and beat in egg, followed by the vanilla. Stir in flour mixture just until combined. Divide dough into 24 portions, about 2 tablespoons each. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.

Baking American Heritage Chocolate

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Working with one portion of dough at a time, divide in half and press each half to flatten. Place 1 SNICKERS Mini half in the center of one half of the cookie; top with the remaining half of the cookie, pressing down to seal the edges.

Transfer cookies to parchment paper-lined* baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Press to flatten slightly with tines of a fork. Keep additional dough chilled until ready to bake.

*However, I prefer to use my silicone baking mat instead of parchment paper.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are just set around the edge. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
