Alice In Wonderland Disney Bounding

I’ve always loved to dress up. Dressing up Disney style is icing on the cake. Since I can’t really get away with wearing a Halloween costume year round, Disney Bounding is my favorite way to show off my Disney style. And my newest Disney Bound is Alice in Wonderland.

Disney Bounding Inspiration

Not familiar with Disney Bounding? Disney Bounding is taking a creative spin on a character’s look. Not outright wearing a costume, but clothing inspired by the character. What’s great about Disney Bounding is that you can often use pieces from your wardrobe to complete the character’s look. Which is what I did to create my Alice look.

Alice In Wonderland Disney Bounding

Years ago my daughter had an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party birthday party. When thinking about a new Disney Bound to help launch the new Instagram handle the outfit she wore to her party became my inspiration.

Specifically, her socks and her headband. Which were a *tight squeeze*, but I managed to wear them for my Alice look. Yep, I used things I had around – even part of a preschooler’s old costume.

Never fear, if you don’t have an old Alice costume lying around. Amazon has a similar pair of striped knee high socks. If you don’t have a pair of black shoes, these Capizo dance shoes are perfect.

Amazon is my favorite place to search for Disney Bound looks because the clothing is inexpensive. This bow headband from Amazon would work well.

I carried my daughter’s white rabbit plush for my Disney Bound. But if I were going out, I would love to carry this rabbit cross-body bag. Isn’t is adorable?

As for the rest of my look, I bought the white skirt when I Disney Bounded as Cruise Ship Minnie Mouse last year – also from Amazon. (Note, it runs quite small – size up.)

The only thing that was new for this bound was the shirt. There are a million blue shirts on Amazon, but I picked this light blue shirt because I purchased the black version last fall to wear for my daughter’s cheetah party and it became one of my go-to tees. It’s such a flattering style. So I am excited that this part of my bound will become part of my everyday wardrobe — taking a little Disney with me wherever I go.

Curiouser and curiouser.
