Enter The Strangewich Challenge For A Chance To Meet Dale Earnhardt Jr At The Coca-Cola 600

A banana and Hellmann’s Mayo sandwich may sound like a strange lunch choice, but according to Dale Earnhardt Jr. it’s a winner. That’s the whole idea behind the Strangewich challenge, and this year one fan’s Strangewich creation will win the ultimate racing prize including a meet and greet with Dale Earnhardt Jr and tickets to the Coca-Cola 600. Last week Dale Earnhardt Jr. kicked off the 2017 Strangewich Challenge in Daytona Beach, Florida with a mini Strangewich Challenge, pit stop demonstration and race car simulators. My family joined the crowd of fans outside Walmart for all for all of the action.

Before the competition kicked off, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s pit crew was on hand to give fans an up-close look at a pit stop. If you’ve never been up close to the action at a race, let me tell you, those engines are loud! Vroom, vroom!

During the main event, four teams put their sandwich making skills to the test and competed in a mini Strangewich Challenge with Dale Earnhardt presiding over the competition. The teams came up with some rather creative concoctions, but the winning team’s surprising ingredient was the use of doughnuts as sandwich bread.

For even more sandwich making inspiration, Dale Earnhardt Jr unveiled his newest Strangewich — turkey, Hellmann’s Mayo and Doritos on white bread. Now that’s a combo that sounds tasty to me.

Then upload a photo of your Strangewich with the hashtags #strangewich and #sweepstakes for a chance to win a Dale Earnhardt Jr meet and greet at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
