Sometimes snack time needs to keep your kids bellies full, like before practice when you know dinner is going to be late. But if your house is like mine, it has to be a quick snack too. State Fair Classic Corn Dogs with an easy homemade cheese dip recipe fit both needs – quick and filling.
Cheese Dip Recipe
This easy-to-make cheese dip recipe is perfect for corn dog dipping. It takes less than five minutes to make, and the recipe makes enough for several days worth. So you can reheat more dip for another snack day.
Ingredients:
- 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 oz sharp shredded cheddar cheese
Combine cheddar cheese soup and milk in medium saucepan. Cook over medium low heat until hot, stirring constantly.
Add half of the cheese and continue stirring until cheese is mostly melted. Add the rest of the cheese and stir until completely melted and smooth.
I am not kidding, this cheese dip recipe is ridiculously good. I am not afraid to admit that I scraped the pan clean and licked the spoon when we were done! So yum.
Easy snacking to keep your kids bellies full.
State Fair Classic Corn Dogs
State Fair Classic Corn Dogs are available at Walmart. I found them in the low cooler section — you know the open-air coolers away from the refrigerators. (Like the one behind K in the picture below.) State Fair Classic Corn Dogs are a great source of protein to help your kids stay full until dinner.
