My family has the travel bug. Our recent road trip went so well, we are all itching to take another one. Although we have a long list of places we want to take our girls, while they are young I am partial to sticking to road trips in the South. Having traveled much of the South when I was young, somehow I have never been to Alabama. But there is so much to see and do in Alabama I think it is time I checked Alabama off my personal bucket list.
Alabama? What is the appeal you might wonder, especially if you are not familiar with the charm of the south. Let me tell you a little more about this state that will have you changing that, “Alabama?” to an, “Oh yeah Alabama!” in a flash.
Alabama BBQ
If you are familiar with that old song about the sweet state, you might have an idea of what makes this one a special place. The skies are blue, the area is rich with history and if you like to eat like I do, all I need to say to you is Alabama BBQ. If you are not sure what makes Alabama special let me tell you.
Alabama BBQ is different from any other because it has a unique and tasty aspect: a white sauce of mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, black pepper and salt. It creates a flavor worth savoring, craving and dreaming about. I don’t know about you, but I have to taste that combination.
Just look at this BBQ stuffed potato!
