A+ Teacher Gift Tag

Another school year has come and gone, it is hard to believe! My daughter had another excellent year, due in large part to an awesome teacher. In fact, her teacher is an A+ Teacher! To thank her for everything she has done for my student this year, I came up with an A+ Teacher Gift Tag. (And I give myself an A+ for the gift, if I do say so myself.)

This super cute gift is even more perfect because her teacher’s name starts with an “A,” so the marquee letter has double meaning. But even if your teacher isn’t Mrs. A, this gift is sure to give you top marks.

Marquee Letter

To create the light up “A,” I used Heidi Swapp Marquee letters. The Heidi Swapp Marquee Love line makes it easy to make custom marquee letters. They come as white cardboard letters that you cover in paper, tape, glitter or even paint to customize them. 

For her “A” I choose aqua glitter paper (the teacher’s favorite color) and gold glitter tape (2 inches), both available as part of the Heidi Swapp Marquee Love line. All of the coordinating products make it easy to create this statement gift. It turned out so well, I keep thinking about other people I can make marquee letters for!
