How To Host A Progressive Party + More New Year’s Eve Party Ideas

One of the most fun parties I’ve ever hosted was a New Year’s Eve Progressive Dinner Party. It was such a fun way to ring in the new year for everyone. So much fun, in fact, that I highly recommend that you gather your friends and start planning now. You can still pull this off for New Year’s Eve!

Our progressive dinner party was made of four courses at four houses: appetizers, soup and salad, dinner and dessert. And we rang in the New Year at the dessert house. The beauty of the progressive party is that each host only had one part of the dinner party to consider, then we moved on to the next house. Did I mention, so much fun?!

Oh and by the way, we include kids in all of our New Year’s Eve parties — including our progressive party, they loved it too!
