DIY Dog Ornament
This adorable dog ornament is easy to make and it is a great keepsake. In fact, I have similar ornaments for both of my daughters that I made for their first Christmases. I don’t know why I never thought of making one for my Yorkies until now, but I am glad I have one.

Did I mention that the whole project took me less than five minutes to make?! Of course, I did have to stop and share a Pup-peroni treat with my dogs while crafting.

This easy dog ornament was inspired by the Pawsome Pins board. Find even more pup-tastic DIY crafts from Big Heart Pet products. (My other favorite crafts are a DIY doggie wreath and a dog treat inspired gingerbread house.)

How To Make A Dog Ornament

Step 1 – Mold the clay into a circle (or into your desired shape)

Step 2 – Press your pet’s paw into the clay. Use a straw to put a whole at the top of the mold to hang with ribbon once dry.

Step 3 – If using the air-dry clay like I did, let the dog ornament dry on parchment paper for two days to dry completely. (If using molding clay, bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes.)

Step 4 – Loop ribbon through the hole in the dog ornament and tie around your Milk-Bone and Pup-Peroni Treats.

Step 5 – Hang your special dog ornament on the tree.
