Do you remember Paddington Bear? I loved my Paddington when I was a girl, and I was so excited to visit Paddington Station in London as a teen. That little bear always made me smile. Now my girls will have a chance to get to know Paddington in whole new way when Paddington stars in an all-new movie this holiday season.
Opening in theaters Christmas Day, this will be the perfect family movie to enjoy before the kids go back to school. I can’t wait to see how they bring Paddington to life.
About the movie:
From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman, PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.
I think I need to see if I can find my old Paddington Bear… I am sure he is still around, somewhere.
