Create A Seasonal Table With Better Homes And Gardens Dinnerwear

I love seasonal decor. Not only does it get me in the mood for the season, but it also helps my home feel alive and current. Obviously redecorating the whole house every few months isn’t an option, but changing up simple decorations every few months helps makes it feel new and fresh. 

One of the easiest places to bring in a touch of the season is the dinner table. 

The key to a seasonal table is to start with a blank canvas — crisp, white dishes. With a set of simple white dishes, it is easy to add a splash of color and a few accent pieces to create a different look for every season. 

Better Homes and Gardens recently sent me a set of its new 16-piece dinnerware set and asked me to create a seasonal table top using Better Homes and Gardens table-top decor items from Walmart. I was surprised by the selection of seasonal BHG items at Walmart and had a lot of fun shopping for my fall-inspired table.

After looking at the same round dishes for the last decade, I was thrilled to receive a set of square dishes. The modern twist on classic dishes adds just a touch of flare. 

The new collection of BHG dinnerware is simple and elegant, and when paired with seasonal items creates endless possibilities for the dinner table. 

Harvest Dinner Table Setting
White dishes make it possible to update the look of my table for every season without purchasing new dishes — just a few inexpensive decorative items. All of the decorative items included on my table are from the BHG line that you can purchase at Walmart – including the yummy scented candle.

Inspired by the harvest fall leaves theme, I even made my paper napkins look classy with a few fall leaves and some raffia. So simple, but the finishing touch.
