A couple of weeks ago while waiting for our movie to start, a trailer for Free Birds came on the screen. Listening to my daughter giggle through the entire trailer, I put the movie on my mental must-see list. It looks funny for the whole family.
About Free Birds:
In this hilarious, adventurous buddy comedy for audiences of all ages, directed by Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears a Who!), two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history – and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good.
Adding to the laughter is an all-star cast of comedians that includes the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler. Sounds funny already, right?
And I was super excited to see Carlos Alazraqui in the cast. I met him this summer, and he is just as funny in person as the characters he voices on screen. I can’t wait to see what he does this time.
Other talent in the movie includes Dan Fogler, Lesley Nicol, George Takei, Colm Meaney, Keith David, Carlos Alazraqui and Dwight Howard — yep, the basketball star.
