Coca-Cola’s Big Game Ad: Vote For The Winner ~ Giveaway

Fess up. Who watches the Big Game for football, and who watches it for the ads? Since our teams (the Bucs for me and the Pats for hubby) are out of the running, I am 100% in the later category. Bring on some cool ads!

One of the ads during the Big Game will include Coca-Cola’s new ad entitled “Mirage.” But this is no ordinary ad spot, this ad will lead viewers to go online to vote for the winner.

The ad follows three factions of characters – a band of Cowboys, a gang of “Badlanders” and a pack of Vegas-style Showgirls – as they chase after an elusive bottle of Coca-Cola. The winner of the race is entirely up to fans who log on to CokeChase.com to vote for their favorite faction and slow down their fictional foes by initiating fun acts of sabotage.

At the end of the Big Game,  the fans’ actions will determine how the storyline plays out and which one of three ads will air following the final whistle.

Who will win? The Cowboys, the Badlanders or the Showgirls?

I have decided to go with my daughters line of thinking and throw my support behind the Showgirls because they are wearing pink. (Hey, it’s a logical reason for a four year old, and I am supportive.)

Much like a choose-your-own-ending book after the winner is chosen and revealed, fans who Like or Follow the Coke Chase can check out the alternate endings to see how the desert-based chase could have concluded if another group had reached the bottles of Coke first.

Voting for the chase is already underway, so cast your vote. Be sure to throw some sabotage in the way of your opponents too, perhaps a game of double dutch? (Go play, you will see what I mean.)
