Splitsville Opens In Downtown Disney & Scores

There’s a new game in town, and for our family it was love at first sight. Downtown Disney West Side is now home to Splitsville Luxury Lanes, and for tourists and locals a like the new lanes offer a chance to unwind and hang out with family and friends for a little friendly competition in a swanky environment filled with family-friendly entertainment.

Splitsville Downtown Disney West Side

This bowling alley is worthy the Disney name. With bright lights, hip retro decor and colorful balls emblazoned with a figure of The Mouse, this is not your ordinary bowling alley. It is a far cry from the dark and dingy bowling alley I grew up visiting, and it has royally spoiled us for good.

The two-story building (which was once home to Virgin Records – way back when) houses 30 lanes, pool tables, an outdoor patio, live music and more. In addition to pizza and sliders Splitsville has even gone beyond traditional alley food offering sushi! (I told you this place was swanky.)

Visiting with small children? No problem. Splitsville offers kid-friendly bowling with a ramp for those to small to pick up the ball and retractable bumpers. Remember the cumbersome old-school bowling bumpers? Splitsville bumpers are high-tech and can be programmed to pop up for little bowlers turn and retract for the next bowler. That means even tots can get into the fun!

Splitsville Downtown Disney West Side Family Kids

Splitsville is open for Walt Disney World guests from 10 am until 2 am daily. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays adults can party kid-free on the second floor, which is reserved for guests 21 and up from 10:30 pm until closing (date night!). Prices vary based on time of day and include the cost of shoe rentals. Prior to 5 pm, bowling costs $15 per person for 1.5 hours of bowling. After 5 pm, it is $20 per person for 1.5 hours of bowling.

Splitsville the new way to bowl in Orlando. Warning: Once you check it out, you will never want to go back to a regular alley.

I was Disney’s guest at Splitsville’s Grand Opening as part of the #NewFantasyLand Grand Opening Event, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Oh my goodness! I can’t think of anything more fun than bowling Disney-style. I hope they open one up over here on the West Coast at Disneyland!

This looks like fun! My boys love bowling with the ramp… and at Disney it would be even more fun!
