Game Night Snacking With Popcorn, Indiana

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Popcorn, Indiana for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

This fall has been a whirlwind. I traveled more in September than I have the entire rest of 2012 combined. Two of my three trips where with the family, but the longest sent me to California solo for five days. Because we have all been so busy, and missing some good family time, upon returning home from our latest trip we put everything to the side to spend a little bit of time playing together as a family. (Not an easy task with a one year old who wants to sit on the game board I will add.)

Surveying our game options, I clearly need to buy K a new game that I actually like for  Christmas. She has four games, and I only enjoy playing one of them. She selected Gooble Gobble. The fun part of this game is making animal sounds, but the actual game plays much like Chutes and Ladders where players are constantly being sent back to the beginning. But I digress…

The point of the game was to have a little family bonding, work on raising a good sport and enjoy a delicious snack. (Cue mom’s new addition here.)

Popcorn Indiana Bacon Ranch

I was recently introduced to Popcorn, Indiana and OMG YUM! The whole family enjoys cheddar-flavored popcorn as a snack, but oh my we were in for a treat when we tried the Bacon Ranch flavor. It is not a flavor I would normally pick up off the shelf, but I am completely obsessed with it. (So much so that I had to stop writing just now and grab a handful of yum!) Made from all-natural ingredients with no preservatives, it is a great snack option for the while family. (If mom will share!)

In addition to Aged White Cheddar and Bacon Ranch, Popcorn, Indiana is also available in Kettlecorn, Movie Theater, Sea Salt and Cinnamon Sugar. While Cinnamon Sugar sounds divine, I cannot imagine loving it more than the Bacon Ranch. (Seriously, it is soooo good.)

Since I am in the market for a new game (for a 4 year old), what’s your favorite family game night game?

  1. I’ve never tried this brand but it sounds great, especially the Cinnamon Sugar! We have a lot of games and I would suggest maybe UNO? My daughter has loved it since she was little and there are a ton of new versions out these days!
