I Heart Minnie Mouse DVD Party!

When I was asked if I would like to host a DVD screening party for the new I ♥ Minnie Mouse DVD, I responded with a resounding YES! K doesn’t just love Minnie Mouse, she LOVES Minnie Mouse. So a party was planned, guests were invited, goodie bags stuffed and excitement mounted.

On party day, four of my daughters friends joined us for lunch, play time and, of course, a screening of the brand new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode Minnie & Daisy’s Flower Shower. It was really cute because all of the girls were excited to see the new show. They hardly touched their food (oh well). I wasn’t sure how five little girls would do watching a show together, but I was amazed to see that they all sat on the couch and watched the show (with the occasional dancing that erupted for song breaks).

I was so busy (chatting with the moms who came to assist) I couldn’t tell you a lick about the show myself, but the girls tell me that it was great. They were certainly entertained and that, after all, is the point.

For the party preparations, I decided to make Minnie and Mickey Peanut Butter Crackers for lunch, which were a hit. Each girl was also thrilled to receive a Minnie Mouse ring, stick on earnings and a tempoarty tattoo – there was much shrieking and commotion surrounding this exciting party surprise. And since it isn’t a party without a goodie bag (so says K), each little girl was sent home with a baggie and some Minnie Mouse activity sheets (which you can download below).

  1. My daughter is over the moon in love with Minnie Mouse. She would love to throw a party for her friends. She is wearing her red and white Minnie outfit with matching bow today!
