For all of my Central Florida, local readers. If you want to avoid the age-old, “What-are-we-going-to-do-today” question, you have to check out the PLAYGROUND Music & Arts Festival Sunday, May 1.
Last year was my first time in attendance, and it is a blast. With tents set up all the way around Lake Eola, it is a great way to get outside for some fun. Since arts are a huge component of the festival, many of the vendors have crafts for the kids. So you can literally go around the lake learning about local businesses, making crafts and getting all kinds of SWAG!
Plus all kinds of great performances on the main stage – including a fashion show, the Triple Threat competition and hip-hop star Chingy.
I don’t want to giveaway all the surprises, but it is a fun-filled family day. So, if you are in the area, stop by and check it out from 10 am – 4 pm. (Rain or Shine!)
