Chili’s Shout Out to Eat Out

We love us some Chili’s in our house. A great excuse not to cook, a fun atmosphere for families and good food — good times. Although we have learned our lesson about the balloon animals (rookie parent mistake). LOL.  Saturday night was family dinner night at Chili’s for us. While a few new menu items caught our eye (a vegetarian queso dip), I have to admit I stuck to some old favs.

For an appetizer, we had the Skillet Queso (our fav). My daughter is obsessed with “dip-dip,” which is what she calls all dips, so when she saw the salsa she insisted on trying it. Not the best idea… it was too spicy for her! But then she wanted to try the queso, and she was in love! She goobbled it down – how cute is she with queso on her nose!

For dinner, I stuck with the Chicken Fajitas, yum. But my husband branched out and tried the new Caribbean Salad with chicken — he was a big fan. My daughter had grilled cheese and corn on the cob. Tonight, the corn was a hit! Seriously, she couldn’t get enough. Mama loves seeing her eat her veggies!
