The music industry is filled with songs that contain… ummm… inappropriate lyrics and messages for children. And yet, all the kids seem to know all the lyrics. But every once in a while a group comes along with a good message, this is just such a group.
Born on the battlefield, four former Soldiers attribute their Army experiences and training as the driving force behind 4TROOPS, a vocal group recording its self-titled debut album that drops Tuesday, May 11. As seen on “Good Morning America” in January, 4TROOPS’ album contains familiar tunes such as Bless the Broken Road, I am Already There and You Raise Me Up. As I listened to the CD in my car this morning, I thought about the deeper meaning of each of these songs, now sung by a group of former Soldiers who served our country — gave me the warm fuzzies.
