Rethink What Matters – bareMinerals Giveaway

Earlier this week I was introduced to the “Rethink What Matters” campaign by Bare Escentuals, and I can only wish I learned about it sooner!

I discovered Bare Escentuals in my own life just after my daughter was born. I had been wearing the same foundation since high school, but Cover Girl stopped making it. At first I was frantic, it worked for so long, and I hate change. But then searched for a new solution. I have to admit, it was a TV infomercial that first got me to consider Bare Escentuals.

I have moderate adult acne that plaques my life. At first I scoffed at the idea that a powder could cover all of my blemishes, but I was sucked into the TV. It looked like it really covered… With a new baby in my life, I was searhing for more and more natural products. I was instantly in LOVE with the natural mineral idea.

I started asking around, did anyone I know use bareMineral makeup? Yes, my close friend and my sister-in-law both gushed over how much they loved the product. So when I came across a free trail of bareMineral foundation at Ulta – I was all over it. I think the flyer with my makeup said something like, “Try it for 10 days and you will be hooked.” I was hooked in 1 day. I loved how light it felt on my skin, and I was amazed that it did cover everything! Within a month I went from trying the foundation to using the whole line as my sole make up line! (I converted my sister too!)

I wish I could say it never cakes up, but I slather it on heavy in problem areas (such as my chin), so it does tend to gather there. But a little tissue dab and quick swipe of reapplication and my skin is smooth once more.
