My girls can’t get enough Star Wars. So I was delighted to partner with General Mills Big G Cereal to create a craft inspired by the glow in the dark Star Wars decals found in specially-marked packages. This glow in the dark Star Wars craft was met with squeals of delight when I showed it to my daughter, but the real fun was when I turned off the lights.
Glow In The Dark Star Wars Craft
This glow in the dark Star Wars craft is really easy to make. Once the paint is dry, the rest of the project comes together in less than 5 minutes.
Materials:
- 8×10 canvas
- black acrylic paint
- foam brush
- glow in the dark stars
- mini glue dots
- Star Wars decal
Paint the canvas black and allow it to dry.
Place stars all over the canvas, and then use mini glue dots (or a fast drying glue) to adhere stars to the canvas.
The force is strong with my young Jedi, so she was thrilled with her new art. My little Rey is happy to sit and play with her Star Wars figures for hours creating all kinds of stories. I think I heard something about Han Solo riding a dinosaur into the castle. I love her little imagination.
