Big Hero 6 Gift Ideas + Disney Infinity 2.0

If your kids are as big of fans as mine of Big Hero 6, then there will likely be a few Big Hero 6 products on their wish list this holiday season. Thanks to Disney I had a chance to check out some of the hottest Big Hero 6 toys, and I have shopping ideas to share. 

Disney Infinity 2.0

First and foremost, if you have a gamer in your life, Disney Infinity 2.0 is a must (with additional Big Hero 6 figures, of course). I’ve never been much of a gamer myself, and my oldest is just getting to the gaming age so when I had a chance to sit down and really learn about Disney Infinity 2.0 I was totally blown away. Wow things have come a long way since the first Nintendo gaming system I grew up with. (Gah, I sound so old saying that!)

There is so much you can do with this system, and what I loved most about it is that it grows with the player. So it isn’t a game that collects dust once you master it, instead there are always new characters (for under $15) to be added to the game making it new again.

Disney Infinity is an interactive gaming platform where players have unprecedented freedom and endless opportunity to create stories and play experiences starring the beloved characters from across the worlds of Disney. In the game, players use real-world interactive figures to activate original storylines (Play Sets) in the virtual game worlds and create new adventures with other Disney Infinity characters in the Toy Box mode.

Disney Infinity starter packs are available with Disney characters or Marvel characters. Big Hero 6 fans can add Baymax and Hiro characters to play with in the toy box.

Big Hero 6 Toys

The hot new Disney merchandise of 2014 is Big Hero 6 (of course, Frozen is still dominating too), and there are a number of ways mini fans can get into the fun with role play, attire and even bedding.

Here are some of my favorite Big Hero 6 Toys.

Flying Baymax – Don’t worry Baymax doesn’t fly on his own, but in the hands of your kid he can zoom around the room in his flight suit complete with clips to attach Hiro to his back. 

Baymax Fist and Mask – Ok, this is the coolest toy on the list. With the mask and real rocket fist kids can role play as Baymax.

Big Hero 6 Funko Pop! – So these may not be the hottest toys for kids, but I am completely obsessed with Funko Pop! figures. And as a result my kids think they are pretty great too. Watch out, once you start you will want more!

Big Hero 6 Books – Let the Big Hero 6 superheroes encourage your kids to read. With books of various reading levels, you will find something for every one. 

Armor-Up Baymax Action Figure – I admit the number of pieces on this thing makes me a bit hesitant, but still what kid isn’t going to want to Armor-up Baymax? I want to play too!

Big Hero 6 Apparel – Get in touch with your inner robot and rock that Baymax look. Kids and adults can get into the fun with plenty of tees and accessories sporting Baymax.

Big Hero 6 Plush – Every fan needs a Baymax to snuggle with, after all he’s the ultimate cuddly robot.
