When is a cracker more than a cracker? When it is a Triscuit. And when is a Triscuit more than just a Triscuit? When it is one of the new flavorful Brown Rice Triscuits.
Oh my yum!
Have you tried Brown Rice Triscuits yet? I previously tried the Brown Rice Triscuit seasoned with Tomato & Sweet Basil, and I might have eaten the whole box without sharing any. (Not in one sitting, but in two sittings.) They are so flavorful and yummy. So I was excited when three new flavors arrived at my door.
But the new Triscuits came with a challenge — to create the perfect topping. A simple challenge, but Brown Rice Triscuits are so good why top them? I’ll tell you why. Because as good as they are plain, they are a flavor explosion when paired with the right topping. (I might be going a little overboard with the “flavor exposition,” but they are definitely even better.)
After playing around with a few topping ideas, I settled on a family favorite — pizza! I topped my Brown Rice Triscuits with a slice of pepperoni and a dolup of cream cheese. Simple, classic and the perfect flavor combination to add to any of the Brown Rice Triscuits varieties:
- Brown Rice Triscuit seasoned with Sea Salt & Black Pepper
- Brown Rice Triscuit seasoned with Tomato & Sweet Basil
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Red Bean seasoned with Roasted Red Pepper
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Red Bean seasoned with Savory Red Bean
- Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion
After sampling my creations I was surprised to realize that my favorite is the Roasted Red Pepper. It has just the right amount of kick.
While Pizza Topped Brown Rice Triscuits would be a hit at any party, they also make for a great afternoon snack.
Triscuits have been around for 100 years (did you know that?). The Brown Rice crackers don’t replace the old standard, but it introduces new variety. Made with 100% whole-grain brown rice and wheat along with other ingredients such as sweet potatoes and red beans, they contain no artificial colors or flavors.
Oh wait, did I mention they are delicious?
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Triscuit. I received products to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I’m a fan of Triscuts ,and these would be a great after Dinner snack!!
So fun, we do this on tortilla chips b/c my son can’t have wheat.

I think I would like to try the sea salt and black pepper topped with black beans, shredded cheddar and sour cream
They look yummy! I want to try the sweet potato ones with a little cream cheese spread on top.
Jh man, i sold my soul for triscuit with tomato & sweeeet basil.
We tried the Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Red Bean seasoned with Savory Red Bean ones. My husband liked them but I grew tired of them after a bit. I would really like to try the Brown Rice Triscuit baked with Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion since I LOVE sweet potatoes but I have not seen those in our store yet. Hopefully they will get them in sometime. I have no tried anything on top of them because I figured they had enough flavor but I guess if you put something simple on it, like cream cheese, it wouldn’t be too much and would add texture to it. Ill have to remember some cream cheese when we pick them up again.
I have been wanting to try these new crackers, my family loves the original triscuits. Your pizza topped crackers look yummy and so easy to make.
Never had these but these would be great snacks for work or after school
Triscuits would be great with goat cheese and this raspberry jalapeno sauce we get from Costco. We use that combination all the time on wheat thins. Delicious and definitely a hit with my kids.
