Sofia The First Talking Doll Review

TSM-PP

If you have a little princess in your house, then you are likely very familiar with Disney Junior’s princess Sofia the First. From the moment she debut last fall, she has been a hit in my house. But until this summer, toys and other merchandise featuring her likeness have been hard to come by. That changed when the flood gates opened and Disney started producing Sofia toys, party decorations, accessories, home decor, books and so much more. Now the problem is that my daughters want it all.

I recently posted 10 Sofia The First Toys Your Princess Will Love (And Beg For) and one of those toys that my daughters couldn’t wait for was the Talking Sofia and Animal Friends

When my daughter came home with the very first Knight of the Week (student of the week) of the year, I decided the wait was over. (What can I say, I am crazy proud of my little Kindergartener!) Squeals erupted when she tore open her gift. It was no surprise to me that Sofia was an instant hit.

Sofia The First Talking Doll

The Talking Sofia and Animal Friends is a cute toy. Not only is she a pretty doll, but she works like she is supposed to — every time. (Isn’t it a little sad that I am so very impressed by a toy that works, shows how many toys really don’t.) My girls are both enjoying playing with Sofia and having her talk to her animal friends – Clover, Mia and Robin.

Since we regularly have jam sessions to “Blue Ribbon Bunny” from the Sofia the First soundtrack, we are all most excited to hear Sofia talk to Clover and Clover reply to Sofia.

Since this is a talking toy, I decided  you need to see Sofia and friends in action. So check out this little Sofia demo I made for you.

  4. My very special Princess Giuliana. She LOVES Princess Sophia. She met Princess Sophia “in person” at Disneyland and now everything is Princess Sophia. Do you thin Princess Sophia likes asparagus? Do you think she likes ice cream? Does she go to bed at 7:30 too? Name it, Prinicess Sophia is included in our day. So Princess Sophia would be welcomed addition in our home by Princess Giuliana 🙂

  9. My youngest is asking for Sofia the First toys for Christmas and I was looking at this one. Your review makes me think it would be a good purchase. It seems like we have so many of these itty bitty toys that get lost and underfoot, but I think the talking aspect of this one sets it apart.

  10. My five year old daughter got this for her birthday! I put the small birds away (so they wouldn’t get lost) but she still has Clover out. She and my 2 year old have a lot of fun playing with her and Clover (and occasionally the birds when I let them out to play)!
