Arby’s Grand Turkey Club Tastes As Good As It Looks

My grandfather was a proud Army man. He had great respect for other branches of the military, but he also used to tease. When I was a little girl, he taught me how to build a proper sandwich. He explained that it was important to fill the sandwich with lots of meat. Otherwise, you had what he referred to as a “Navy man’s sandwich.”

This is a sponsored post.

An “Army man’s sandwich” he explained was full of meat, nut just one or two slices but a fat stack of meat. It has probably been 20 years since he taught me about his views on sandwiches, but it has stuck with me. Whenever I have a turkey sandwich, I want my sandwich to be filled with lots of meat – an Army man’s sandwich.

So when I heard that Arby’s has a new Grand Turkey Club that’s what I expected — lots of meat.

Arby’s didn’t disappoint.

Overflowing with freshly-shaved turkey Arby’s Grand Turkey Club looked like the kind of sandwich my grandfather would be proud of. Doesn’t it look yummy?!

Arby's Grand Turkey Club

The Grand Turkey Club is a hot roasted turkey sandwich with melted Swiss Cheese, Pepper bacon, leaf lettuce, tomato and it is severed on a harvest wheat bun. Want even more meat? Arby’s also offers a Grand Turkey Ham Club sandwich with everything above plus ham. The best news is that the Grand Turkey Club tastes as good as it looks. With fresh ingredients and lots of meat, how could it not?

Hubs also gave the new sandwich two thumbs up.

lunch Of course, I can’t go to Arby’s without getting some mozzarella sticks too. Have you had them? They are so yum!

All around, it was a yummy lunch! The Grand Turkey Club is only available for a limited time, so if you like a good club sandwich check it out. Not an Arby’s regular? Find an Arby’s near you.

I like Arby’s – going to give this a try.
I also love the $1 menu items – do not need those big portions all of the time.

So, I’ll be honest – I haven’t been a big Arby’s fan in the past, but thus sandwich really made my mouth water. Between that and curly fries, I am tempted to make a trip o Arby’s soon. 🙂

I’m a vegetarian, so I won’t get the turkey sandwich, but that bread looks tasty! I like their mozzarella sticks too!
