Our Spring Photos At Picture People + 20% Off Coupon

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Picture People for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Please smile pretty for the camera. Please smile pretty for the camera. Please smile pretty for the camera.

Every time we go to have pictures taken, I feel the same panic as we get ready. Please smile pretty for the camera. But for this session I was especially panicked. It had been a super busy weekend. Not only did baby girl miss her afternoon nap yesterday, she was also up late. Plus with the time change, she missed her morning nap before our appointment. I was prepared for a disaster!

But baby girl was as jolly as could be as we arrived at Picture People, happy to color alongside her sister as we waited. (Fingers crossed.)

When it was our turn, both girls trotted back happily and took their place on the backdrop. Holding hands, they both smiled for the camera! Things were going to be ok.

Mom relaxed a bit, and we even had some fun with the session. Baby girl kind of did her own thing, that’s a toddler for ya. But K listened and smiled like a big girl. There were no tears, lots of smiles and even some giggles!

The photographer moved quickly, and before I knew it our session was over. As we walked back up front to wait for our proof viewing the panic returned (I am a crazy mom when it comes to photos). Were the girls smiling, did we get any good shoots?

I didn’t have to wait long. In about 10 minutes, my proofs were ready for viewing. Having never been to Picture People before, I was impressed by the presentation. The gal walked me through all of the packages and available options first. Everything was clear and professionally presented, but I was dying to see the pictures.

When the moment arrived, I took one look at the first portrait (the one of the two holding hands below) and sighed. Then this image came on the screen, and I practically fell over from the cuteness.

For real – how stinking cute is she!?!

After reviewing all of the pictures, it was time to narrow down my choices. I had a problem — a good problem. I loved a bunch of them!!! (Yep, I panicked for nothing.)

In the end, I decided to go à la carte. I ordered two 8x10s, one 10×13, a 10×13 collage and a low-res CD to share online. My plan is to hang the images in a group in the playroom like this.

What do you think? Really cute, right? I also couldn’t resist this college they created for me because who could resist this cuteness…

When we were finally through (and mom was happy) my husband and I talked about the experience. We were both impressed by the efficiency of the entire process, how well thought out the proofing selection process was and that we were never pressured into making a purchase. The whole thing was so relaxed. In and out in about an hour and a half with pictures in hand — that’s a good photo session!

Now that you have seen my adorable portraits, I am sure you are dying to have some taken of your kiddos! Picture People is a national chain with 140 locations nationwide, so if there is one near you then download this coupon for 20% off Professional Portraits! and book your session.

At Picture People there is never a sitting fee. So, if your kiddos were to have a bad day and the photos don’t turn out how you like – you don’t have to buy anything. As a mom who has disaster sessions before, I like that! But hopefully you will have an experience like ours and your biggest problem will be narrowing down the portraits you want to buy.
