Build-A-Bear Gingerbread Hello Kitty ~ The Grinch Giveaway

I love Build-A-Bear. If our house wasn’t already overflowing with stuffed things, I would probably take K to build a new friend every month. And truth be told, I think I would be more excited about it than her! So far I have been able to continue my love for the fun to a minimum, but she does have three of handmade friends. Of her friends, her favorite by far is Clarice (you know, Rudolf’s girlfriend). She is the one Christmas toy that lives in K’s bed year round – they are the best of friends. While I would never want to replace Clarice, I may have found a new friend to rival that love – the Gingerbread Hello Kitty.

From Build-A-Bear:

For the first time ever, Build-A-Bear Workshop is introducing Gingerbread Hello Kitty® ($23). This world-famous friend is ready to spice up the holidays dressed in a red sequin faux-fur dress ($12.50), white faux-fur trim purse with bow ($5) and red heels ($7.50), complete with a gingerbread-scented cookie. This friend makes a fashionable gift!

Why I Love It – She’s adorable. Seriously, total squeal factor for my four year old when she finds her under the tree. And she smells like gingerbread, how fun. That red sequin dress is icing on the cake, she looks so lovely. But really, she’s cute even without the dress (she has buttons on her belly like a gingerbread man). The only thing I dislike is that her “hair bow” is attached with Velcro (I assume there are other bows available for purchase), but it doesn’t stick. I mean really doesn’t stick. I am going to end up sewing it on because otherwise it is kind of pointless. But that minor flaw aside. She’s super-duper cute!

Great Gift For – Everyone! K made her first Build A Bear when she was 18 months, I made my first one when I was 24 🙂

Buy It – Hello Kitty, Clarice, Rudolf, The Grinch and all of the Christmas friends are available at Build-A-Bear.

I am excited that Build-A-Bear is participating in The Suburban Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide. In addition to all of the other fabulous prizes, the winner will win The Grinch! Click here to enter to win The Grinch & more!

I remember when Build a Bear first started. They had just a few bears to choose from. I really love the huge variety and selection they have now!
