Celebrate Dad With A Frosty And #TreatItFwd At Wendy’s

This Father’s Day, Wendy’s is celebrating its founding father, Dave Thomas, by making a $.50 donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for every Frosty sold over Father’s Day weekend (June 16 – 17). Won’t sharing a Frosty with dad be even more special knowing that the purchase of that Frosty will benefit the cause of Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, which is a program that helps foster children in need find great homes?

Alright, here’s the picture to get you drooling…

In addition to the Frosty donations, Wendy’s invites you to utilize these free ways to “donate.”

1. Buy any Frosty product: On Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, for each Frosty product purchased, participating Wendy’s will donate $.50 to Wendy’s Wonderful Kids. This signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is dedicated to finding permanent adoptive families for children in foster care. (includes the original, parfaits, shakes and floats)

2. Use a mobile-friendly website to check in at Wendy’s: Wendy’s will donate $.50 for every customer that checks in at Wendy’s restaurants during Father’s Day Weekend (June 16 -17 only) using Wendy’s special mobile-friendly website found at www.wendys.com/treatitforward.
3. Re-tweet: Now through Father’s Day, customers can re-tweet one of @Wendys special Twitter posts with the hashtag #TreatItFwd. Wendy’s will make a $.50 donation for each designated re-tweet made from Treat it Forward. (HINT – the Tweet in the giveaway below has the hash tag in it, so your Tweet can have a double whammy!)

GIVEAWAY – One lucky reader will win a $10 Wendy’s gift card! While you won’t have it in time to celebrate Father’s Day, you can still take dear old dad to lunch 🙂

  1. I’m not close with my dad, so I’m not doing anything. I did however get my grandpa a really nice watch.

  2. I spent fathers day in the hospital with my stepdad. I brought him dinner from his favorite restaurant and watched a movie in his room with him.

  4. I live quite a ways away from my father (4 states away) so I sent him some awesome, gourmet food from my recent trip to the west coat.

  5. For fathers day, I picked up a bunch of Chinese take-out (hey, it’s what he wanted!) for dinner and gave him a cordless grass trimmer/edger.
