Hallmark Mother’s Day Gift Ideas To Preserve Family Memories ~ Giveaway

While moms could all use a little alone time now and again, when it comes to Mother’s Day what most moms really want is to spend quality time with their kids making lasting memories. That sentiment is reflected in Hallmark’s line of Mother’s Day gifts and is exactly why I am in love with these gift ideas.

Yes, most of my readers are moms, but I know we moms aren’t above dropping a BIG hint to those husbands and kids about what we want for Mother’s Day. I hope you will agree that these little treasures are worth hinting about and share this info with your significant others about what they can get for you on your special day.

Once known for cards and cards alone, Hallmark’s continually expanding line of interactive gifts is what has me visiting the store every holiday season to see what’s new. (My husband is like a kid in a candy shop in Hallmark of all places.) I have a sampling of beautiful Mother’s Day cards, but what I want to tell you about are these memory preservers.

Mom & Me: A Conversations to Keep Recordable Book ($24.95)

If you have ever wanted to bottle up the adorable things your little one says to preserve forever, then this book is for you. Putting a twist on the concept of recordable storybooks that Hallmark launched a few years ago, this book is all about recording your little one’s precious thoughts in their own words. With though provoking questions like, “What do you think mom does when you are not around?” and “What do you do to make mom laugh?” the book allows you to record your little ones answers to each question with the push of a button.

Hallmark Mother's Day

Recordable Artwork ($14.95)

Similar to the recordable storybook, Hallmark’s Recordable Artwork allows you to preserve your child’s personality vocally and visually. After painting a masterpiece on a framed canvas, ask your mini Picasso to describe their work of art while you record the story. I bet no other piece of art that hangs in your home includes a recording of your child’s sweet voice.

Hallmark Recordable Canvas

Picture yourself years from now remembering when your kids were young longing to hear their voice and voila you remember the stories you recorded with your kids when they were little. That’s a Mother’s Day gift!

  1. For Mother’s Day, I want to spend the entire day with my family at the zoo. Besides the evenings for dinner and bedtime, the four of us aren’t together that long…I long for a weekend of family togetherness…

  11. Well, since Mother’s Day is over, I will tell you what I got. I got a new suitcase (are they trying to tell me to leave?!). I also got a card from my husband and the most precious handmade card from my daughter. My husband also took me out to eat, sans children. It was probably the first hot meal I have had in a year! 🙂
