Tick-tock, tick-tock… the days until Christmas are ticking away, and as the anticipation builds I am starting to freak out about those last minute gifts I still have to purchase (and all the gifts I have to wrap!). Why is it that even though I shop for gifts year round, there are still several people I need gifts for as the days until Christmas slip by? Another problem with last minute gifts, my budget for gifts is running low. Good thing I know I can find tons of fabulous gift ideas for less at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s.

Over the years, I have purchased all kinds of great gifts from TJ Maxx and Marshall’s, and with both stores restocking more than 10,000 new items weekly through Christmas, you don’t have to worry about finding bare shelves even if you shop the week of Christmas. (Which at this rate, I will be!) If you need some ideas to get those shopping juices flowing, here are some great gift ideas you can find at  TJ Maxx and Marshall’s: For the kiddos – Stuff their stockings with Play-doh (you know they can never get enough of this stuff). And if toys are already overrunning your house (like mine) fill the tree with books. (I often buy books from TJ Maxx, they have great titles and low prices – love the Sandra Boyton for little ones.)

For tweens – You can’t go wrong with beauty and bath products. (Heck, you can’t go wrong getting those things for girls of all ages, my three year old will find nail polish in her stocking this year!)

For the fashionista – Appeal to her sense of style with these uber chic gloves in bright colors (they are practical too, unless you live in Florida). Since it rarely gets cold enough to actually wear winter scarves here in Florida, I love fashion scarves. Jewelry always makes a gal smile, and chunky bracelets are so in. And check out the bling on those watches! (There are at least two people on my list who will receive bling watches this Christmas!)

For the (hard-to-shop-for) man – Gadgets rule with men, and I love this mod looking alarm clock. See that toy helicopter, I am sure it would make a great gift for a kid, but my Aunt gave one to my husband for Christmas last year and it was the hit of the day. Grown men have even more fun than kids playing with it. And for the handy man if your life, new tools.

  9. i just want to make it thru this year. from oct on it has been extremely difficult. my husband walked out on us, he refused to even try to work on our marriage. i cried for 2 months, but then realized i had to move on, my aunt passed away suddenly and my sister had her baby early. it has been full of trials and i will be thankful to start a new year.

  68. I’d love a new pair of sneakers and an iPad. But my husband and I don’t exchange anymore, instead we buy for the kids. So guess I’ll have to save for my wish list.

  103. I already got what I wanted for Xmas this evening. A coworker gave me an amazing gift and it didnt cost more than a dollar. She reminded me what the season is all about. Caring and thoughtfulness I think along the way we all tend to forget about that part. She got me this little nutcracker tin and filled it with those meltaway mints. I asked her if she had a mint once waaaay back in like June LOL. I told her it was so good and that I loved it. And then when she handed me that little tin and I opened it I almost cried, for her to remember how much I loved a mint she gave me several months ago…was something special
