Just in time for Christmas, the newest Veggie Tales movie tells the classic story of the Little Drummer Boy with a focus on giving and forgiveness. A nice way to remind little ones that Christmas isn’t just about the presents.
From Veggie Tales:
In this Veggie-version of a holiday classic, Junior Asparagus stars as The Little Drummer Boy, a lonely child who finds the true meaning of Christmas when he stumbles upon the birth of the baby Jesus. A story of generosity, hope, and love, this timeless tale will warm the hearts of children everywhere!
Includes the new Silly Song “The Polish Foods for Christmas” and an all new recording of “The Little Drummer Boy” by Grammy and Dove Award Winning artists BeBe and CeCe Winans!
Why I Like It – I love the messages in Veggie Tales movies. They are faith-based without being overly preachy, and the messages are a great way to teach children about being giving and compassionate people. Of course, the adorable characters and catchy theme song also make the movies enjoyable for the kids to watch too. So while moms likes the messages, kiddos ask for Veggie Tales over and over because they are fun to watch.
Buy It – Veggie Tales: Little Drummer Boy is available on Amazon for less than $15, and it ships free with Prime or purchases over $25.
Great Gift For – Veggie Tales movies make great gifts for young children, and I just love DVDs as stocking stuffers. Of course, you might want to give Little Drummer Boy before the big day to teach little ones about the meaning of Christmas during the season. (Think advent calendar gift idea.)
I am excited that Veggie Tales is participating in The Suburban Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide. In addition to all of the other fabulous prizes, the winner will win a copy of Veggie Tales: Little Drummer Boy!
