The art of mastering a perfect swaddle is just as important for baby’s comfort as it is for mom’s sanity (comfy baby = sleeping baby = happy mommy). As with most things, having the proper tools is half the battle. I have heard nothing buy rave reviews of aden + anais swaddles so with a new baby in the house, I was anxious to test them out for myself. I am happy to report that they deserve every one of those rave reviews and then some.
From aden + anais –
Our 100% natural cotton muslin swaddles are a must have because of their breathability, generous size, multiple uses including + stroller cover + burp cloth + nursing shield + summertime and tummy time blanket + change table cover + portable crib sheets, to name a few! And, the more you wash our swaddles, the softer they get. Known for our unique, contemporary designs our classic collections are absolute mummy musts.
Why I love them – Turns out, size does matter, and these swaddles are huge. In fact, when I opened them up my husband remarked, “I could swaddle you with that thing.” Ok, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but at 47×47 inches they are considerably bigger than any other swaddle we own. (Instead of starting with the rectangle, these are meant to be folded into a triangle before swaddling.) What sets these swaddles (besides the precious patterns) is the soft and stretchy cotton muslin fabric, which makes swaddling your babe a breeze. Don’t get me wrong, we did love the “acquired” swaddles from the hospital, but the woven cotton ones don’t really stretch. Now that I have tried these stretchy, body conforming muslin swaddles I am a convert, and I am not going back.
Buy it – aden + anais swaddles are available online. The swaddles start at $22 for one, or you can buy multi-packs for as little as 4 for $50.
Great Gift For – Babies. (Well, great gift for moms of babies.)
I am excited that aden + anais is participating in The Suburban Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide.
