me & goji – A Delicious Cereal/Snack

We first discovered me & goji through the daily deal site jasmere. It was one of the yummiest daily deals I have ever taken advantage of, and I am now a HUGE fan. I could eat my weight in me & goji cereal – yum!

me & goji is a create-it-yourself cereal company that allows you to create amazing cereal creations that are as delicious as they are good for you. It all starts with your choice of a simple cereal, and from there you can mix in nuts, dried fruits and seasonings. For the health conscious, you can learn about the health benefits of each ingredient as you place it in your cereal. For the taste conscious, you can pick and choose from the yummiest flavors to design a cereal that is perfect for your taste buds.

I keep calling it cereal, and it is cereal, however, I eat my me & goji as a snack or desert dry, right out of the container… Ok sometimes I put it in a bowl, but I still eat it with my fingers. This cereal has my whole family begging for more. My daughter calls it, “My special snack.” My husband, who doesn’t eat cereal can’t keep his paws out of it. It really is that good. Plus, cereal is one of the best breakfast foods for people who want to lose weight.

Alright, it is delicious, you get it. But it is also fun to make. The interactive site walks you through five pages of choices – base, enhance base, add dried fruits, add nuts and seeds and name your creation. You can even upload a photo to be printed on your container for that extra personalized touch.

Here are the ingredients for TheSuburbanMom creation:

  • Granola (organic oats, honey, sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, sesame, cashews, pumpkin seeds, coconut, wheat, walnuts, vanilla, sea salt)
  • Cocoa Almonds
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Dried Goji Berries
  • Coconut (x2)
  • Almonds (sliced)
  • Pistachios
  • Pumpkin Seeds

Want to order my delicious mix? You can go here, and order recipe id: 233168. (No, I don’t get a cut from my mix… although that’s a good idea… but I know you will love it!)

Not sure what would make a good combo? Browse the me & goji’s cereal store to check out some of the company’s favorite mixes. If you don’t find exactly what you are looking for, you can even customize the pre-designed mixes. Once you find the perfect mix, you can reorder your custom cereal anytime without having to remember all of the ingredients.

BTW – if you are like me and have never heard of a Goji, it is a berry packed with antioxidants that is quite tasty too. We added to our first mix since it was the company’s namesake and now I can’t imagine a mix with out it. I highly recommend that you try it in your mix.

I can’t say enough about this yummy treat. In fact, I ate my way through this post telling myself that I had to keep eating my me & goji for inspiration.

Need a last minute gift for that hard-to-shop for friend, give a me & goji gift certificate. The recipient will have fun designing their cereal and even more fun eating it.

Disclosure – I received me & goji cereal to facilitate this review, however, no other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love the idea of a gift certificate!!! My sister in law has been doing weight watchers this year and I wanted to get her a healthy gift for the holidays. This is perfect- just the right amount of indulgence without derailing her points plan! Thanks for posting about it.
