When you are married to a tech guy, such as I am, gadgets have a short shelf life. We go through new gadgets, cell phones, TV components, faster than I can learn how to make them all work! But one thing we seem to stick with is printers – maybe that is because I am the one who uses it most often. I think the printer we have now is about 5 years old. It has been a good printer, but it is starting to get buggy and not work quite right… But a new printer isn’t that important or budget friendly, so I wasn’t thinking about replacing it. Apparently, my husband was – so thoughtful!
Thanks to Staples, we found an AMAZING deal on an all-in-one printer. If you are in the market, check out this deal while it lasts!
The Sunday flyer had an Epson all-in-one printer originally priced at $199 marked down to $99. Then we happen to have a $25 off $75 coupon. Finally, Staples has a wonderful printer recycling program (this is my favorite part). If you buy a printer (with an original price tag of at least $199) you can trade in your old printer to be recycled and get $50 off a new one! That brings the grand total to about $30 with tax. Wowzers!
(Plus, we actually have an ancient printer that is totally dead laying around that we have been meaning to recycle. So we still have the 1/2 alive printer as a backup!)
PLUS – we just learned about Staples ink cartridge recycling program. If you take any used cartridge to Staples, they will give you $3 in Staples Rewards – up to 10 cartridges a month! (We don’t have any right now because I always mail ours in to be recycled, but we will take advantage of this soon!)
Two reasons for sharing this info 1) if you are in the market for a printer, this is a great deal 2) I LOVE that Staples is making it easy and profitable for people to recycle. Thanks Staples for looking out for our planet!
Disclaimer – I have no material connection to Staples, the opinions here are my own.
Hey Jen-
We are actually in the process of getting a new printer. I need to upgrade since I work from home. Any way…where did you get that $25 off coupon?? Thanks!!
