What’s In My Girls’ Easter Baskets (Last-Minute Ideas) ~ Frozen Game Giveaway!

Where did Easter go?! It is already this weekend. Luckily, I have been gathering small gifts for my girls’ Easter baskets along the way or I would be scrambling. In case you are scrambling for last-minute ideas, I am gonna give you a peek into my girls baskets for some inspiration. And no candy!

Oh and while my baskets are very girly, you will find boy versions of most of the items too.

K (age 6)

Easter Basket Pirate Fairy Disney Minnie Mouse

S (age 2)

Easter Basket Frozen Sofia the First

I am really excited about the Frozen Matching Game because S is at the perfect age to start playing and, well, the girls are both obsessed with Frozen. (Aren’t all little girls right now?!) The box recommends ages 3+, but I have already started playing matching games with her and she loves it. So I know this will be great for her, even if we have to start with just a few of the cards.

Of course, big sister is also going to totally want to play, and that’s ok too.

The cards are really nice, thick cardboard with bright colors featuring all of the Frozen cast — even Marshmallow (the snow monster). Sweet S will be most pleased to see Kristoff and Anna – her favorite characters.

Like most Frozen merchandise these days, even the Frozen Matching game is proving hard to get your hands on. I was able to find it on Amazon, but at a premium. That said, this is a game I would keep your eyes open for. I am a big fan of memory games for kids and for Frozen fans, this is a must for the preschool crowd.

And guess what… I have one to giveaway!!!

  1. In their Easter baskets I’ll put in a chocolate bunny, a plush, some crayons and coloring books, movies and some books.

  2. It is starting to look more like Christmas over here! lol. They have chalk, bubbles and all the outdoor necessities. The girls have new beachy sweaters I found on clearance at Target. There are a few of the Crayola Grab N Go Games, hockey and the toss game. A few new board games. Cards, candy, and other misc books and toys I have found.

  3. Candy of course, My youngest will find a new train and some more track, my middle will find some disney infinity characters, and my oldest will be finding money (he is saving up for something)

  4. I love these ideas! I am trying to do theme baskets this year with my five kiddos! My two youngest daughters are both Frozen fans! Thanks for the contest!

  5. They will get a chocolate bunny but mostly things, not candy. the girls get fingernail polish, hair bands, headbands, socks, lip gloss, and other little “girly” things. they boys will get toy cars and balls.

  6. I don’t have any little ones in the house anymore. (This would be for my niece.) But when my son was little, there were a few toys, crayons, coloring books, books and some candy.

  7. Bubbles will be receiving the Longbottom (from Disney Planes) diecast, a Sally (from Disney Cars) diecast, some Cars Jelly Bellys, a Princess crown, dry erase markers for her easel, a white chocolate lamb, and a few other things.

Austin’s basket will have protein bars, a gift card, some of his favorite socks, trail mix, and few other things.

Ashley’s basket will have Nutella, some kitchen gadgets for her new apartment, sugar-free chocolates, and a shirt.

  8. My son is still young but we got him a ride on Batman car and I am going to fill the seat with a few things like his favorite pouches. 🙂 My nieces will love this game.

  9. Holly will not be getting her Easter basket this year till the day after Easter when everything is half off lol.

  10. They received some candy, a shirt and a movie each. They both had birthdays the week before, so they get less Easter items.

  11. I dont have any children, but I made an easter basket for my husband and it had candy, a gift card for coffee and gum in it!

  12. I don’t make Easter Baskets anymore. I used to put candy, toys, stuffed animals, crayons, coloring books, chalk, jump ropes, etc.
I tried to personalize it for each child according to their needs. We did give our grandkids $10 each this year – that came to $150.00!

  13. Our kids enjoyed fresh baked treats and the world’s most delicious granola, made by a friend of mine who just opened her own granola business. 🙂

It’s Hippie Chick Granola, if you are interested.

  14. Since I’m a RN I tried to stay away from the typical candy filled Easter Basket this year so my son got a Chima 3DS game, bubbles, legos and other small toys along with a couple of plastic eggs filled with money :).

  15. Hello! My son is grown but I still get him an Easter basket. lol I put Reese’s and Gummy Bears in it because they’re his favorites. He has his own son now, of course my grandson, and he would love this! Thank-you!
