Frito-Lay Celebrates Summer – Recipe & Giveaway

This post is brought to you by Frito-Lay, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Who’s planning to celebrate the 4th of July with a family BBQ? This girl! We are headed off to the beach next week to enjoy our annual family extravaganza. In other words, LOTS of family! Food will be mostly potluck, and since I am not the world’s best chef I am always on the hunt for a new (easy) recipe to impress. Plus it has to be kid-friendly.

Thanks to Chef Jody, I think I have a recipe that fits the bill — Ruffles Max Smokehouse Style BBQ Quesadilla With BBQ Beef Dip. (Say that three times fast!) Check out the recipe below:

Frito-Lay Ruffles Quesadilla Recipe

Doesn’t that sound like a fun way to kick up quesadillas a notch? Man, I could go for some BBQ chips right now!

  1. Rubens. Casserole. Steaks. Corn onthe grill. Home made cole slaw. Potato. Salad Some suntea. On ice and watermelon foe. Dessert

  2. I’d serve it at the birthday party celebration my family throws for everyone born in August (we’ve got a lot of August babies in this family)

  3. I don’t have a backyard, but I love Frito-Lay Corn Chips and bring them along to watch the fireworks display on the 4th of July.

  4. We have family BBq’s every weekend and we would serve it then. But we love to have an end of the summer blow out right around Labor Day.

  5. No ‘back yard’ here… but that doesn’t mean the party is off! Good food + good friends = fun wherever you may be ♥

  6. The first weekend in August, our little town has a “Summer Daze” celebration, including fireworks which they shoot off from a park right near our house, making our deck a popular place for a gathering of friends. Fun!

  7. I will serve Frito Lay @our weekly girls day get together we have every Tuesday .. it includes myself, my mom, my cousin, & 2 aunts:)
    Thank you

  8. We served them yesterday at my niece’s graduation party and we will be celebrating with them again on Independence Day, Labor Day, family picnics and trips to the lake house.

  9. We just got a nice grill so we would grill something great (my husband’s a great griller – if that is a word) and I would make what you have listed above, or make a taco dip that we prepare for the scoops, and put everything out on our serving trays and have our families over – we have a pretty big great room and a large screen TV – so I think it would be fun!
    Thanks for this!

  10. We’re having a barbeque on the 4th of July tomorrow at my apartment complex and I’m responsible for the chips and I will be getting all kinds of Frito Lays products.

  11. I will serve Frito-Lay at our camping cook-outs every weekend this whole summer. My son just loved Friot-Lay! Thank-you for a GREAT Giveaway 🙂

  12. I will serve Frito Lay during my girls’ birthday party and maybe a couple of cookouts in between. Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway!
