Frito-Lay Celebrates Summer – Recipe & Giveaway

This post is brought to you by Frito-Lay, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Who’s planning to celebrate the 4th of July with a family BBQ? This girl! We are headed off to the beach next week to enjoy our annual family extravaganza. In other words, LOTS of family! Food will be mostly potluck, and since I am not the world’s best chef I am always on the hunt for a new (easy) recipe to impress. Plus it has to be kid-friendly.

Thanks to Chef Jody, I think I have a recipe that fits the bill — Ruffles Max Smokehouse Style BBQ Quesadilla With BBQ Beef Dip. (Say that three times fast!) Check out the recipe below:

Frito-Lay Ruffles Quesadilla Recipe

Doesn’t that sound like a fun way to kick up quesadillas a notch? Man, I could go for some BBQ chips right now!

  6. The first weekend in August, our little town has a “Summer Daze” celebration, including fireworks which they shoot off from a park right near our house, making our deck a popular place for a gathering of friends. Fun!

  9. We just got a nice grill so we would grill something great (my husband’s a great griller – if that is a word) and I would make what you have listed above, or make a taco dip that we prepare for the scoops, and put everything out on our serving trays and have our families over – we have a pretty big great room and a large screen TV – so I think it would be fun!
    Thanks for this!
