A Halloween Party Fit For A Princess

Once upon a time, in a suburban neighborhood not unlike your own lived a princess and all of her princess friends. On most days they attended preschool and dance class, went shopping with their mommies (the Queens, of course), played throughout the kingdom (aka the neighborhood) and generally lead rather normal lives. But on special days their mommies got them together to celebrate with a little party.

On a sunny day in October, this queen decided to throw a Halloween party fit for a princess. Out front and ready to greet eager the princesses a smiling pumpkin – Disney style. (Not quite a carriage, but I think Cinderella would approve.)

Inside, this Halloween party was all princess with no spook. Ready and waiting for a gaggle of girls, a beauty station including a dress up trunk filled to the brim with fancy frocks and shiny crowns and a talking princess vanity for admiring those lovely looks. There were shrieks of delight when the girls discovered this land of beauty. Dresses flew back and forth as preschool negotiation went into full effect as to who would dress as which princess. (Always interesting…)

Inspired by the re-release of Disney’s  Cinderella on Blu-Ray and DVD, the queen decided to give her princess a giant Halloween treat — lunch set up in the playroom with Cinderella playing in the background. Oh yes, TV while watching lunch in the playroom, the queen got brave.

They colored princess-themed masterpieces.

While the princesses played, the queens chatted about life in the kingdom. And this queen couldn’t help but to share details about Disney Princess Royal Ball App. It’s the perfect app to help keep princesses entertained while so the queen can concentrate on shopping for all of the castles royal needs. It’s like a virtual dress up trunk available for iPhone and Android. Plus princess can unlock bonus content when shopping at Walmart for their very own princess party supplies.

Since queens in suburbia don’t have any helpers to do their shopping, the first step in planning the perfect party is always to go shopping. See my entire shopping trip and Disney Princess party supplies in my G+ story story.

All attending royalty had a wonderful time at the party, and while they may or may not all be princesses on Halloween, they all agreed a princess-themed Halloween party was the perfect way to celebrate the season.
