I am a big breakfast person. That doesn’t mean I eat a big breakfast, rather that I must eat something for breakfast every morning. (The most important meal of the day, after all.) There are many options for breakfast, but since discovering my yeast allergy, bread is not one of them. So no toast or biscuits for me.
Personally, I like something sweet for breakfast. And since I typically eat breakfast standing up (while feeding/dressing the kids) I like something that is easy to eat. In college I discovered Carnation Instant Breakfast, and I have been enjoying them for breakfast for the last 10+ years. But it isn’t enough to fill me up (especially while nursing).
I rotate through breakfast accompaniments. Granola bars, cereal, yogurt, granola, fruit — all good options. But I have a new option, and I am totally hooked. Seriously, this is when blogging totally rocks — finding something new that I love!
I was challanged to try belVita for five mornings as a compliment to my morning routine. After the first bite, I knew the real challenge would be keeping my family from eating all of my belVita! No joke, these things are YUM!
Sure enough, last week was crazy busy preparing for my daughter’s birthday so I didn’t get around to photos. Look at the state of my belvita stash when I finally got around to taking pictures. That’s it, out of 15 packs there were three left. Luckily for me, I had the foresight to buy more when I noticed them on sale 2/$5 at Publix – four more boxes.
belVita come in three flavors – blueberry, apple cinnamon and golden oat. My favorite is blueberry, but frankly I like them all.

Disclosure – I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of belVita Breakfast Biscuits and received belVita Breakfast product samples to facilitate my review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
I’m hooked too! The Golden Oat with some peanut butter is my favorite!
