Antibacterial Screen Guard For iPad/iPhone Review ~ Holiday Gift Guide

I wouldn’t say I am a germaphobe… Ok, maybe a little bit. But how can you not be? I mean who likes being sick? And while we are hand-washing fools in our house, we are always looking for new ways to protect ourselves against germs. A couple places germs love to linger is on our phones (we breathe right on them and use germy fingers to navigate technology) and our iPads (especially when my three year old plays with it). Yuck! Now you can protect your screen from scratches and germs with an Antibacterial Screen Guard from Fuse. Yeay! Harnessing the power of nano silver (far beyond my technically understanding), the screen protector prevents bacteria from growing on your screen leaving you free to browse a clean surface.

From Fuse:

  • Antibacterial screen guard is up to 99% effective against bacteria
  • Never loses effectiveness
  • Matte, anti-glare surface finish
  • Fingerprint resistant
  • Residue-free removal
  • Enhances screen brightness

Why I love it – Besides the creating a clean surface for my family to share, the screen protector is really nice. I previously had a screen protector on my iPad to keep it safe from scratches, but it was hazy and I didn’t like the way it felt when I used the iPad. (Of course, I left it on because I am know to be a bit careless with things and wanted to prevent major scratching. But I really didn’t like it.) This screen protector is much nicer, it is quite clear, and I like the way it feels when I use it. Smudges are always a problem on touch-screen devices, but I am happy to report that the screen protector wipes clean with a cloth (another improvement over my old protector). As with all screen protectors the biggest problem is the application to the device. You have to be so careful when you apply these things to get it on just right with no bubbles or dust under the protector, it makes me crazy trying to get it on. But once it is on, it is smooth sailing.

Buy it – The Antibacterial Screen Guards for iPhones ($19.99), iPad ($29.99) and iPad 2 ($29.99) are available on Amazon (free shipping with Prime or purchases of $25 or more). (Universal guards are available online directly from the manufacture.)

Great Gift For – The touch-screen device lovers in your life. The Antibacterial Screen Guard is available for iPhones, iPads (1 & 2) and now there is a universal screen to accommodate all other tablets and phones.

I am excited that Fuse is participating in The Suburban Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide. In addition to all of the other fabulous prizes, the winner will win a fuse Antibacterial Screen Guard of their choice!
