Sparkle Farm Bloomer Shorts Review ~ Holiday Gift Guide

From birth to age three, every adorable dress comes with a matching pair of diaper covers (AKA bloomers). We once had a drawer filled with bloomers to choose from. Suddenly, my daughter turned three and dresses no longer come with bloomers. Sure, I understand the logic, most girls are potty trained (or close to it) by this age so no need for diaper covers. But frankly, I think that age three is the exact age dresses should come with bloomers. Modesty is not a trait yet grasped by the preschool crowd, and bloomers to cover a little girl’s panties would offer freedom from mom’s constant nagging, “Put your dress down.”

And that’s why a mom invited Sparkle Farm bloomer shorts:

As a mom of a little girl, I spent countless hours shopping for cute bloomer shorts for my daughter to wear under her dresses and skirts. Oh, and I wanted them to be affordable as well. After fruitlessly searching, I thought to myself, “If I can’t find bloomers, then I need to get them made!” and Sparkle Farms bloomer shorts were born.

The bloomer shorts are

  • 95% cotton makes the bloomers breathable and comfortable
  • 5% spandex helps the bloomers maintain their shape
  • Form-fitting style that won’t show up under skirts and dresses
  • Hygienic (picture your daughter sitting in the sandbox)
  • Privacy – Private parts should be kept private

Why I love them – In addition to the reasons above, Sparkle Farm bloomer shorts appeal to girls with the signature rhinestone accents, which means my daughter actually wants to wear them. Plus they come with an affordable price tag and a range of colors to coordinate with outfits. (Note, IMO they seem to run a bit snug. My daughter normally wears a 3, and the size 3 shorts fit but they seem a bit snug. I would purchase one size up to get a bit more wear out of the bloomers.)

Buy it – Sparkle Farm bloomer shorts are available individually for $13 each or in a three-pack (that comes with a tote bag) for $25. (Free shipping on purchases $50 or more!)

Great Gift For – Girls sizes 3 – 7. (Although mom will love the gift too.)

I am excited that Sparkle Farm is participating in The Suburban Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide. In addition to all of the other fabulous prizes, the winner will win a Sparkle Farm Bloomer Shorts!
