When I was pregnant with my first, one of the first things I had to have was a maternity shirt announcing my due date. You know, one that said, “Due in March.” So I Googled and bought the first cute, girly looking shirt I found. What didn’t do was check reviews to see how the quality would be.
Disappointment was an understatement, it was one of those stiff cotton shirts, and the screen printing was sub-par. It wasn’t comfy or as cute as I hoped, but it is what I had so I wore it, proud to display my pregnancy.
Fast forward to baby #2, and this time I knew exactly where I would order my maternity shirt from, and I knew in advance I would love it — Just Jen. Having ordered a Halloween shirt from Just Jen last year I knew I would get a soft, comfy cotton shirt with beautiful crystals. And guess what? That’s exactly what I got!
Just Jen personalized shirts are the softest, stretchiest cotton. I just don’t get why everyone doesn’t create their own t-shirts, no one wants those stiff shirts. And the Swarski crystals are so sparkly and fun!
Having ordered from Just Jen previously, I knew that the shirts run small so I adjusted accordingly. If I had to pinpoint one con it would be the tricky sizing, but if you go by the size charts provided on the site, I find those to be very accurate. For example, I normally wear a S/M in things, and I ordered a L, which you can see was a great pick for me. (My Halloween top last year was a slim fit shirt, also in a L.) The shirt is stretchy, so I probably could have gotten away with a size smaller, in both cases, but I don’t like my shirts tight so this worked perfect for me.
You might wonder about laundry, I wash the shirt like normal with the rest of my load (although I do turn the shirt inside out as suggested to be safe). In general, I don’t typically dry my shirts, so I don’t normally dry my Just Jen shirts either. But the first time I washed my new maternity shirt it did get thrown in the dryer by mistake, and it came out perfect.
Just Jen offers several pre-designed funny pregnancy t-shirts, like mine. But if you want something specific, you can also design your own. (So if you are looking for a “Due in…” shirt you can totally create your own.
With the high-quality shirts and adorable crystal designs I recommend Just Jen shirts for everything — holidays, maternity, kids, special designs and more. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
Oh, and if you want to give a Just Jen shirt as a gift, the shirts also arrive in a gossamer bag ready for gift giving.
Disclosure – I received a Just Jen shirt to facilitate this review and one is being provided for the winner, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
You look awesome! I am going overboard and “likeing” everything for more entries. Twins coming in January, I’m all about free stuff for these little ones!
TWINS!!! Maggie, I had no idea!!!!!!! CONGRATS 🙂
I love this idea! I need to order one of these shirts 🙂 Baby #3 is coming in November, and I keep getting the “When are you due?” and “Do you know what you’re having?” questions…
LOL – I thought Tickled Pink would answer the what are you having questions, and do you know I actually have people compliment the shirt THEN ask me what I am having! Better say it straight up if you don’t want to answer the question. 🙂
You are looking sooo cute!!!! My shirt would say “Due in February”.
So cute, I love the shirt, but would absolutely love the Baby Bullet – that thing is awesome. We have our own garden and could grow and make our food. 🙂
I totally love the ‘Mrs.’ tank top 🙂 I would wear that because after 10 years, we FINALLY got married this year!
cute idea with announcing your due date. could also work with announcing the sex of the baby!
What a cute shirt! So excited about your giveaway! I’ve only got 5 weeks left!!!
Ooooo, I love the Swarovski crystals… and the fact that these can be personalized. Very nice. 🙂
Very cute shirt. I am in need of some longer shirts just about now. My normal shirts are just not covering the bump anymore…
I really like this shirt. I will have to get one
That shirt is so cute! And it is definitely nice to know that it is comfy – My tolerance for uncomfortable clothes has dropped to zero while pregnant.
