Amazon has a great deal tonight on the Angelcare Baby Movement and Sound Monitor Deluxe for $105.19 plus free shipping. After having an Angelcare monitor with my daughter, I cannot image not having one with my next one on the way. Besides being a great all-around monitor with two parent units, the Angelcare has a special sensor pad (this deluxe version comes with two to provide better detection) that you put underneath the crib mattress that is sensitive enough to detect your baby breathing, and will alert you if no movement is detected within a certain period of time. I know it certainly allowed my husband and I to sleep better at night when we moved K into her own room. It’s a great product, and has very positive Amazon reviews too.
