Bagel Bites Simply Snacking Pledge ~ Giveaway

While waiting in the doctors office this morning, a doctor was interviewed on the internal TV channel about snacking. This doctor didn’t bash snacking, in fact, he talked about its importance for both kids and adults. He emphasized portion control, but he also offered reasonable snacking alternatives — including sweet and salty snacks. It was very refreshing. Healthy snacking is an option, and you don’t have to eat cardboard!

When considering snack options for my family, I do my best to keep the pantry well stocked with a range of options. One of my requirements for snacking is that snacks have a healthy component and a limited number of ingredients, and this summer Bagel Bits is asking parents to take the Simply Snacking Pledge to:

  1. Keep it Simple – Choose simple, easy-to-prepare snacks with wholesome ingredients.
  2. Keep it Tasty – Serve snacks kids will love to encourage lots of smiles around the table.
  3. Keep it Fun – Take the time to connect with your child and incorporate some simple, family-friendly activities during the daily snack-time routine.

In addition to encouraging healthy snacking, for every person who takes the Simply Snacking Pledge, Bagel Bites will donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America up to $50,000. Plus everyone who takes the pledge will receive a $1 off Bagel Bites coupon as a thank you.

My husband and I both remember eating Bagel Bites as kids (it was a special treat in our house), so I was excited to introduce K to Bagel Bites for the first time. As expected, she is now a Bagel Bites fan. What kid wouldn’t be?

Have you introduced your family to Bagel Bites yet? If not, take the Snack Simply Pledge to get your $1 off coupon, and then enter to win Bagel Bits from The Suburban Mom.

Giveaway – Two readers will each win two coupons for a free package of Bagel Bites to enjoy with their family.

To enter – Please use the Rafflecopter form below to take advantage of your entry opportunities. This is a new giveaway format, and I think you will really like it. (I’d love your feedback too.)

MANDATORY ENTRY MUST BE LEFT AS COMMENT ON BLOG POST BELOW – then you can check off in Rafflecopter that you did it. Otherwise, all other entries will be invalid. (Click instructions for what to comment about.)

Disclosure – I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Bagel Bites and received coupons and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I love anything chocolate. My son loves Pirate’s Booty. I like it because the ingredient list is short and I recognize all of them!
