Build-A-Bear’s Gifts that Give Back Giveaway

Every trip to Build-A-Bear is magical. For my daughter, it starts with a simple trip to the mall and ends with a new best friend. On our most recent visit (thanks to a Groupon certificate) Rudolph’s pal Clarice came home to live with us and the reindeer hasn’t left her side in nearly two weeks. Since Clarice has a talking feature, I am very glad to report that she has an off switch that we have dubbed night/nap-time mode. Thank you Build-A-Bear.

But as cute as Clarice and her friends from Rudolph are, the Build-A-Bear friends I want to introduce you to are Turner Owl, Jack Russell Terrier, WWF® Gray Wolf and Champ. These cuddly friends are part of Build-A-Bear’s Gifts that Give Back program and a portion of the proceeded of each of these animals purchased is donated to a worthy cause.

The purchase of Turner Owl donates $0.50 to First Book to provide new books to children from low-income families and $0.50 to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation to support other literacy and education programs. Likewise, $1 from the purchase of Jack Russell Terrier (from the Bearemy’s Kennel Pals® series) benefits domestic pet programs, WWF® Gray Wolf funds endangered animals and their habitats and Champ supports children’s health and wellness causes such as juvenile diabetes, autism and children’s cancer research.

My daughter will find a new Champ bear under the Christmas tree in just a few weeks, wouldn’t your kiddos like to find one under the twinkling lights too?

Buy it – With all of the choices available at Build-A-Bear this holiday season, consider giving your kids a gift that gives back by helping them select one of these cuddly pals with a purpose. Like all furry friends from Build-A-Bear, the Gifts that Give Back can be styled in any of the Build-A-Bear fashions.

Win it – One lucky reader will win a $25 gift card to Build-A-Bear so their kiddo can bring home a new best friend.

Mandatory Entry – Visit Holiday Gift Guide and tell me one other gift that is on your list for the holidays.

This giveaway has ended.

Disclosure – This is a sponsored giveaway, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

  2. The power cape you reviewed is perfect for my little man. He would love that. My girl would benefit most from the build-a-bear gc. She loves that place but I can’t afford it all on my own! Thanks for the great giveaways.

  5. Love “Champ!” Having a nephew w/ juvenile diabetes, and another with autism, and a friend who had childhood cancer, that a simple bear can touch so many lives…whiloe being cuddled by my own little one, is a precious gift.
