Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce’s arrival was PERFECT timing. The plan for Thursday night’s dinner included a homemade Teriyaki sauce that needed prepping on Wednesday… Unfortunately, we forgot until Thursday. Therefore, we were facing plain chicken… Blah… Then the delivery man arrived with Country Bob’s.
A quick 20-minute marinade later and viola, dinner was served!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I don’t think that holds weight when it comes to food. Lots of food looks amazing and tastes… less so. Others look a little less and taste yummy! So, since you can’t taste this picture, you will just have to take my word that dinner SO tasty! I think this might just be a new house regular. (BTW – We already had the sweet potato side planned, and it made a wonderful compliment to dinner.)
In addition to turning plain chicken into a yummy meal, Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce came with a pamphlet of recipes to try. My husband wants to try the meatloaf recipe next, but I want to try the baked beans. Since he’s the chef, I’ll be happy to try either one! I just love that this sauce has so many uses.
Another wonderful thing about this sauce is the list of ingredients: Tomato concentrate, (tomato paste and water), vinegar, corn syrup, sugar, molasses, salt, onion powder, caramel color, garlic powder, tamarind, corn starch, natural flavors, and other spices. Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce is Gluten Free. YES! It is all natural, no crazy preservatives that I can’t pronounce. Now, that’s good food for my family.
In addition to the All-Purpose Sauce, Country Bob’s line includes Spicy All-Purpose Sauce, Barbeque Sauce, Seasoning Salt and a cookbook. That’s right, the recipes don’t stop with the pamphlet, they have a whole cookbook.
