It’s been a very craft Christmas break. Each morning I wake up to these words, “Let’s do a project today Mom.” So to oblige my crafty kid, and my own fondness for making something. We’ve been a bit crafty. I didn’t get around to everything I had planned, but here are some of our highlights.
A Gingerbread House from Aldi – It wouldn’t be Christmas without this annual family tradition.
A Shrinky Dinks Christmas Tree – This kit is so much fun. It comes with everything you need to make the tree and Shrinky Dinks ornaments. (Remember those when you were a kid, your kids will love them too.
Paper Wreath Craft Kit – I was thrilled to come home from a White Elephant gift exchange with this Paper Wreath Craft Kit. It included everything but the staples needed to put together this colorful wreath that my four year old was happy to help me easily put together.
A Santa Claus Advent Calendar – I have to give credit to my daughter’s teacher for this one, we just checked off the days, but it was so cute I had to share.
Sample provided by Aldi, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The paper wreath is a particularly cute craft idea!
