Me Time With Nonni’s Biscotti Bites

Between kids, work, chores and more it is hard to find “me time.” There are times I think days weeks months go by without allowing myself to really take time for myself. I try very hard to make sure we get lots of family time, which I consider “me time” in a way, but real quite time to myself to do what I want to do — that’s a rarity these days.

So what does “me time” look like for me? Well, that’s a good question. If I had a day (or even just a few hours) where I could really just do anything, I would work on my photobooks. Preserving memories of my family is so important to me, and I just love making photobooks (from Shutterfly) of my family photos. I am so behind on making my books it overwhelms me, but when I have an ounce of free time that’s what I like to do.

If course, in my world “me time” also includes chocolate. I recently discovered Nonni’s Biscotti Bites. They come in three varieties including two that are dipped in chocolate. Yum.

My family has a thing for biscotti – especially my mom and husband – so I was more than happy to surprise them with Nonni’s Biscotti Bites. Just like normal biscotti except bite size. Nom Nom Nom! They are yum!

As a chocolate lover, I was sure I would like the almond dark chocolate ones best. But I totally surprised myself when I like the milk chocolate caramel ones even more. (I don’t normally like caramel, but something about the chewy caramel with the biscotti… so good.) If only they made dark chocolate caramel… that could be dangerous.

My husband’s favorite is the classic almond, which he as been enjoying with his coffee for breakfast. And because I am a good daughter, I shared the almond dark chocolate ones with my mom.

I have to admit that I was a bad blogger and gave in to my chocolate craving before taking pictures. So don’t mind the crumpled half eaten bags. LOL
