In less than two weeks I will participate in my fifth Boutique for a Week sale both as a consignor and a shopper, and I can’t wait. If you are a Central Florida mom, and your little ones out grow their threads every time you turn around (don’t they all) it’s time to check out Boutique for a Week.

Simply decide how much you want to sell each item for, enter it into Boutique for a Week’s user-friendly tagging system, drop off your items and a couple of days later — collect your check. During the last sale, I made $75 (a friend of mine made $150)!

Whether you want to test the waters by selling a few items or go all out and have a spring cleaning marathon, it is very rewarding to receive a check for things your family can no longer use. It’s totally green too.

It’s not all about selling your old stuff, Boutique for a Week is a great opportunity to refill your little ones’ closet with the next size. The best thing about Boutique for a Week is that the gals who run the show (two sisters and their mom) are meticulous about screening the items for sale. If an item doesn’t meet their quality control, it doesn’t make it to the racks. New, nearly new and gently used – no rips to stains allowed.

You never know what you are going to find at Boutique for a week, the secret to scooping the best stuff is to shop early. And here’s the good news… I get to give one Central Florida mom a coveted pre-sale pass. That means the winner will get to shop on Monday before the sale opens to the public on Wednesday.
