Disney’s Chicken Little 3D Review

The sky is falling — now in 3D! When Chicken Little takes the screen in 3D, the hilarious mayhem is taken to a whole new level of out-of-this-world fun.

In Disney’s version of Chicken Little, featuring the voice talents of Zach Braff and Joan Cusack, Chicken Little is a societal outcast after causing the town panic when he claimed, “The sky is falling.” Surrounded by his only true friends, a cast of funny misfits, Chicken Little seeks approval of his father who is ashamed of his son’s public outcry. Things finally start looking up for the little guy when he miraculously scores a bit hit for his baseball team, when suddenly… it happens again.

This time when he is hit on the head by another piece of “falling sky” he discovers that it is actually part of an alien ship. Chicken Little rushes off to warn the towns folk that aliens have landed only to have the alien ship “disappear” just as the townspeople arrive. Once again he is mocked for his panic-stricken cry. Ashamed once more, Chicken Little discovers an alien baby who left behind. When the babes parents discover their little orange alien is missing, the declare war on the town. Suddenly the townsfolk are faced with the truth about Chicken Little’s stories as they come under attack. In the end, Chicken Little and his pals save the day earning him the respect of the town and, most importantly, his dad.

Chicken Little in 3D is available on Amazon.

While Chicken Little may not be a Disney blockbuster, it is an enjoyable animated film everyone can enjoy. And like other 3D additions to our movie library, my daughter strongly believes 3D makes any movie better.

The Chicken Little three-disc combo pack that includes a 3D Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray and DVD copy of the classic tale is now available.

Bonus Features Include:

  • Filmmaker Q&A
  • About Filmakers Q&A
