Last week I told you about bareMinerals new skincare line and how excited I was to try it out. Now that I have has a few days to review two of the products in the new line, I can’t wait to get my hands on a couple of the other products in the new line.
There are eight products in the new line. I was sent the Deep Cleansing Foam and the Purely Nourishing Moisturizing to try.
The first thing I tried was the cleanser, and if you are looking for a serious clean, this totally the product for you. Be sure to heed the warning to use only a small pearl-sized amount because less is truly more. I thought I had a small amount the first time I used it, but I still had WAY too much. (This tube is going to last forever!) I love how well this cleanser lathers up. It starts as a cream and foams into a smooth cleanser. I am a huge fan. My face felt so clean without feeling over dried. It might be too much for morning and night, but it makes a great nighttime, makeup-removing face wash.
I wasn’t as impressed with the moisturizer as the cleanser, but too be fair, prego me couldn’t get over the scent to really try it out. I have even had my hubby stop using his face stuff that he has used for years since becoming pregnant because the scent makes me ill. So it very well could be my fave scent once I am not pregnant anymore… Only time will tell on this one. I will say that it was very lightweight and non-greasy, so I was a fan of those aspects. (Plus it comes in a cool bottle.)
As I mentioned before, I really want to try the Blemish Therapy. According to the website, it fights acne with sulfur not salicylic acid like most acne products, and it is applied like the bareMinerals foundation so I am very curious to try it. And based on how much I like the Deep Cleansing Foam, I’d also like to try the Skincare Purifying Facial Cleanser as well. Perhaps one for morning and one for nighttime.
