Strawberry White Wine Slushie

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of dry riesling
  • 1 pint of strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 4 packets of Sweet'N Low

Instructions

  1. Clean and hull the strawberries.
  2. Reserve 1 ⅔ cup of riesling, re-cork the bottle and keep chilled.
  3. Combine strawberries, riesling, lemon juice and Sweet'N Low in a blender. Pour mixture into two ice-cube trays. Freeze until solid.
  4. When you are ready to make a single strawberry white wine slushie blend 6 strawberry/wine ice cubes with ⅓ cup of remaining wine.
  5. Or to make strawberry white wine slushies for your friends combine all of the strawberry/wine ice cubes with the remaining wine to serve five.
